At this age range, we focus on developing social wellbeing and independence. We do this by encouraging language use and really stress identification of emotions. We also begin to teach fine motor skills during this period, especially when it comes to strength and in-hand motion.
During these formative years, we begin preparing children for kindergarten. This starts with working on social and emotional growth and getting into more complex routines. We also begin to teach writing letters and numbers in preparation for the Kindergarten Readiness Assessment.
